It is becoming rather tough to keep my mouth shut about things related to this comic. I have so many comments that I want to make that often times I forget I’m supposed to keep some things to myself. Bah humbug.

Now here are some Easter Eggs for you:
Panel 1 — Both Kristin and Nina are big fans of a certain character of a certain persuasion who happens to be a fan of dark humor, with a very recognizable and popular female “sidekick” of sorts. I’m trying not to be that overt, but the script said that Nina could do as she pleased with this scene, specifically that if she wants to pay homage to someone she can pay homage to that someone. So Nina paid homage. Moving on!
Panel 2 — Vampires are so in right now. This is us hitting those demographics! … wait, who wrote Twilight?
Panel 3 — This is a cameo of an evil Destructor‘d version of a robot whose adventures I read about weekly. I forget his name, though… but he’s written and illustrated by two very funny guys! …whose names I also forget. Hmm. If only I could pay them proper credit? Huh. Oh well.

Panel 4 — Whatever, I just like cats, ok? I’m sure the obvious homage is obvious here, anyway. It’s not like we haven’t been a bit blatant about it in the past few pages. It won’t be the last time, either — I was given eight pages!
